A very good idea...also put any spare change in a jar, piggy bank, or whatever. It's surprising how much it adds up after a year.

We set up a direct deposit in our credit union and so far have been good about not touching it. If all goes well, we should have a good amount to fund our vacation next year - first time we are doing this...we'll see how it turns out.
