I'm just so excited that my 2 year old grandson loves looking at books. Walt Disney once said, "There is more treasure in books than in all the pirates' loot on Treasure Island and at the bottom of the Spanish Main..."

I recently took my 2 year grandson to the library. I wasn't sure how things would turn out as he is so active. I explained before that we needed to be very quiet and sort of made a game out of it. We went to the children's part of the library...sat at one of the small tables there and did some coloring. Then we searched for a book, sat on the carpet, and looked at it together. We quietly discussed everything we saw. It was a great experience. He loved it and wants to go to the library when he go to town.
