Hello Stevie, How are you today? I'm secretly wishing you are unable to respond and are having your baby!:) If not, hang in there kiddo it's only 2 more days and we can keep you from going crazy here! We can do it together...my son comes home Tuesday night. I am squirrely myself waiting in anticipation! Sounds like you will have a lot of help and I bet you have lots of fun. You will have the best time exploring with her and teaching her how to do things. Just remember, babies bounce. When she starts moving all over let her explore and just protect and enjoy her. Bumps and bruisesare part of being little. I promise she will be ok. LOL, practice your breathing and don't forget to bring your focal point. You will be a natural and an awesome mommy! Both sets of parents obviously know how to feed and change diapers. Take a shower,rest,hug your hubby. Use them to help you. She is going to sleerp a lot for a while.Have them cook meals you can freeze. Enjoy it don't let it stress you out. Babies have a way of bringing out the best in people:)

Your nursery sounds wonderful. As for the family thing and thinking you won't get to spend as much time as you like with your beautiful girl, take it from an old baby pro....most newborns DO NOT LIKE being passed around from person to person. Your first 48 hours with her will be at the hospital and she will already know who mommy and daddy are. She has heard both of your voices for quite some time now and knows your breathing pattern and touch already. They know an awful lot when they first come out...LOL,so when she starts crying and they can't shush her that's the perfect time to step in and take her to calm her down. They aren't going to want her to be upset and you get your little angel. Are both families going to invade you at the same time, like are they staying with you? Over stimulation can cause an upset baby too. If you have to have your hubby help you and put your foot down as to how long everyone can hold her. Don't forget though. If you want to take a nap go take one.

Thank you for the friend add. My name is Michelle and had I been thinking I would have read your profile before I asked you what name you had chosen. That is a beautiful name. I am very silly,especially this time of year. My oldest son left for college and comes home for the first time next Wednesday. I haven't seen him since August and am silly and goofy with anticipation. I don't want to wait any longer. Can we just fast forward to next week? Then, we will both have our babies to hold!:) I have 4 beautiful,cute adorable and button pushing children. I wouldn't change anything about being a mom (except having more money). My youngest is the only girl in the family on both sides. She has everyone wrapped around her fingers and she knows it! She wrestles with daddy and her brothers. Destroys lincoln log houses, races hot wheels and when she gets into trouble, lays her head on her shoulder,shrugs and smiles. We call it her "but I'm a pretty girl you can't yell at me" routine....

Oh, so exciting. I'll be saying that a lot. LOL, I love new babies. A new bundle of joy to love and cuddle for the holidays. Maybe oh maybe you may just have your angel before your due date. Have you picked out a name yet? That is always so much fun. Get plenty of bed rest and remember we are all here for you. What is your theme for the nursery? Fill me in with all the details. I never tire of hearing about things for babies (could be why I have 4 of them) LOL, but I'm too old for anymore so I now live through everyone else. So tell me everything you want to:) Michelle
