I remember the gossip problem. I guess the other prevelant problem is still there also. Do you ever experiance (while at the exchange or commissary) that the hire the rank of the husband the bigger the snob the wife seems to be? A number uf units and bases have realized that moral starts and ends at home, and have adopted a strong family support group. The commander needs to push this priority from the top down to make it work. But don't worry, youve got a much better community here. Mark

I can understand not being able to get in the spirit. I had a feeling that he was on deployement when you said he was on leave for the baby. I guess that family is not too close to the base. How are the other unit families? how is your unit unit support? do they try to keep the families connected to each other? a lot of the branches are starting to realize the value in creating a connected community.
