Sorry I haven't responded or been on the boards---with the board being a beta version, it runs sooo slow on my computer and is so hard to get on. Plus things have been really wacko around here lately. My hubby's name is Dean Thomas, and he has 4 siblings, all younger--Trevor, Troy, Erin, and Quinn. They all went to Sequoia, and then on to KM. Luckily we got through the rain and snow okay---I think total snowfall probably was around a foot, if you were to add each snowfall up. James hill was closed right at the bottom for flooding but nothing else was affected. Did you have any problems getting around?

Hi Monique, I saw on the news that Seattle is just a mess. I hope that you and your family are doing ok. I hope that people are still able to shop at your store. Thinking of you --Jenny

He's 40 (graduated from KM in 86), his brothers are 34 and 33 (I think!), sister is 30 (graduated from KM is 96), and baby sister is 25. I think they all went to Sequoia, and all went to Pine Tree Elementary. Actually, they live right around the bend from both schools! Did you know they were closing Sequoia, and last I heard ,going to turn it into an "alternative" school. Ahhhh......since I can't see your note when I hit reply, I'm trying to remember what else you said. My son goes to Rainier Christian Schools; his is in Auburn, but the district also covers Kent, Renton, and Covington, and I think Black Diamond. So when one school gets snowed and closes, they close the whole district. Luckily they had their Christmas program the first week of December and missed the snow, but their class' party is tomorrow, so I hope they don't cancel classes!

What a small world! My hubby and all of his siblings went to Kent-Meridian. Did you get any more snow last night? Our road and drive in our complex is still iced over. Makes for an interesting time trying to get on the main roads!

LOL It's shopping for those "hard people to buy for" that drives me nuts! What do ya get when you have no idea what to get or when they already have everything?
