Hi ketchup057! Thanks for "being my friend!" I grew up in Mount Prospect - live in Los Angeles now, but my family is still there (although they've since moved to McHenry!) I am a member of the Current Events group (or at least I thought I was - I'll double check!) Good for you for starting that group - it's so important to talk about what's happening, and in a forum like this, with people from all over the country, you really stand a great chance of opening minds and getting folks thinking! I too missed the Grammy's this year -but I did catch RP and Allison Krauss in concert this past summer, and it was such a fantastic show - I had never seen Plant live before and was so moved by the experience that at one point, I thought I was going to have to head to the porta-potties to pull myself together! Talk about embarassing! :( Hope you're having a great one and thanks again!

I had a moment of temorary insanity and started a group called Current Events awhile back, if you'd like to join or just stop by and see how crazy (and bored out of mind) I can get at times. Sooo much going on in the crazy world today, ya know? I missed Plant on the Grammy awards a few weeks back-dang it. I haven't been getting here as often as I 'd like lately (guilty conscious).
