Thank you very much! I'm glad we're safe as well! Still no power at my own apartment, though, and my parents had to evacuate again yesterday afternoon, as the power was off at my sister's. This time they went to my mother's hometown of Shepherdsville, KY, about 20 miles, maybe, from here. Her brothers are all there, and though none has power, one has a generator and a woodburning fireplace, so they're warm and safe. So for now, all is well enough. Looks like the kids might go back to school tomorrow, despite the forecast for 1-3" of snow during the day! We'll see. You and yours stay warm and safe! I'll keep in touch! ~Dee

Thank you so much for answering my nosy questions! I am really fascinated! What a wonderful work-from-home job you have! I realize now that I know nothing else about you, and you don't have anything about yourself on your profile. Surely there's more to you than just knitting! Do tell! Meanwhile, I hope you're staying warm and happy! ~Dee

Good Afternoon! It's snowing here! I'm so excited, just praying it sticks! I hate cold without snow! Anyway, your job sounds like a lot of fun! I was telling my mother about it, and she agreed it sounded great! I have ONE more question though...when they send you the yarn, and you get to keep what's left over...is it a lot? I mean, do they send you a case, or just however skeins you request? ok, that's two questions, but about the same thing! lol I wonder, after they're photographed, who gets the item? lol....that's more of a rhetorical question, unless you know. I designed a sweater once...drew it all out, planned every little piece....lots and lots of little pieces....knitted my heart out for months...then laid it all out to sew together, and my fingers kept cramping up...I didn't know then that I had arthritis. So I rolled it up in a tablecloth and never worked on it again. That was 17 years ago or more, and it's probably still in a box in my storage...I have no idea.~Dee

Hi KnitWhit!!! I bet you never heard THAT before, right? WOW! That sounds SOOOooo interesting about your knitting!!! Do your items get photographed for the pattern books only? Or magazines and such? Are any of your items pictured online anywhere? And are you ever going to be on the TV show I just happened to catch this morning, can't remember the name of, but it's all about knitting? And how do they pay for something like that? By the project, the hour? I would imagine that some items are MUCH harder to knit than others, and would take a lot more woman-hours!! Anyway, I'm more curious now than ever! I was guessing several different scenarios, and this was actually one of them, but I thought it was the least likely...no faith in myself, you know! LOL Anyway, thanks for taking the time to explain it to me, and hopefully filling me in further...I could never do what you do, but always wished I could. Stay warm Happy! ~Dee

Thank you so much. I seemed to have caught a flu bug suddenly - endless sneezing, coughing -- (here in sunny California!). Take care, yourself. Wishing you and yours a very Happy and Prosperous New Year! Blessings, The Mystic Wave

Kaycee, forgot to answer a ? in Christmas!!! The cloud that snowed - in hung from the ceiling it was 4 inches wide and about 4 or 5 feet long. You put fake snow in it and turned it on. The snow fell from over the village! Have a great holiday.
