When I was a kid, my working mom provided her kids with a quick, hot nutritious breakfast by serving us soup. I always loved it.
I made this last night and it turned out wonderfully! My husband and I really enjoyed it, and I liked how quickly it could be prepared. My kids were under-enthused.
I'm a vegetarian, so I won't be trying this recipe, but I do have a question. My onions never turn out "nice and deeply golden." Instead, they turn into a big, hot, onion-soupy pan of mush.
