Thank you for checking on us. No, haven't quite caught up with sleep yet. Sophia just inhaled my soup and is finally giggling and not screaming. I asked her if she was just waiting for mommy's soup and she said,"YEA" had I known I would have made it yesterday! So it looks like I may get sleep tonight!

I know what you mean about the second job thing and not wanting to be away from your kids. I spent 9 years as a single mom and had to work 2 jobs most of that time just to make ends meet (one full-time and one part-time). Even with DH working two jobs, we're probably going to need me to go back to work soon. We're just barely breaking even, and when extra necessities come up (like the new tires my car desperately needs to replace the ones that the steel belt is showing through on), there is just no money for them. I'm going to try and get an on-campus job, so at least I won't have to make an extra trip anywhere else and my kids will be in school so they're already not home anyway.

Thank you for writing. Have had a nasty migraine all day and have only been able to handle the essentials. It is finally going away and I came on for a short visit. My husband and mother in law are getting ready to leave for weekend. My brother in law is getting married in New Hampshire and no kids allowed so I'm staying home. With my oldest son away at college I really have no one to leave the youngest two with. Now if my Chris were home, he and my Tommy would be perfectly set to take care of the little ones. I'm very lucky that way. Nobody knows the babies better than their big brothers! Your excitement must be building for your trip. I know I'm excited for you!:) Well, have a great and safe weekend and an even safer trip. My sister is coming for the weekend and we are having a sleep over. Kind of excited about that. We haven't had a sleep over in like...forever....hehe....I want to hear all about your trip when you get back so put me on the list. Godspeed...Michelle

Hi! Thanks for the invite. I know what you mean about struggling. My husband has TWO jobs so that I can be home with the kids and work on my degree, and we are really struggling. It seems as if half the money goes to gas alone for the cars!
