jerrifaye, We went through this journey about the same time I had my 1st chemo oct 5 07 congradulation to you! god is good. I have an appt oct 2 with a plastic surgeon to dicuss my options on reconstruction. They said that your skin is different after Radiation I had a Radical on my right breast with axilary disection and removal of 14 lympth nodes. I was diagnosed at age 52 I'm 53. are you taking tamoxifen for the 5 years? About the hair I never knew I had so many cow licks!!! BUT I promised I would NEVER complain about my hair again this had given me a new prospective about life. I would like to join your group.......I am volunteering for the Susan Koman Race for the cure in oct. I hope I don't have to wear pink I am so over pink. brings back bad memories. but I'm movin on and have my whole life to look forward to. :) TTYS ~ Carol

Hi jerrifaye, your pink ribbons caught my attention. I just went on a 10 month breast cancer journey, Chemo (6) double maceptomy, and 30 Radiations. I'm cancer free , my hairs coming back and I'll never take Anything for granted again. I have truly been given a second chance and god has answered many a prayer are you a breast cancer survivor? hope to hear from you ;) ~ Carol "Florida"
