Hey Jeneq, There are 2 formal dress shops here in Orange. One is on MLK called A Little Bit Gaudy. They have dresses and a lot of formal wear jewerly. There is another on on Hwy 87 across the street from LCM High school. It is called Suki's. They have a lot of dress and I think they can even order some too. Wow, I was kinda grouchy last time I wrote. My kids got the ok to go to tht wedding. It's in July. It's been pretty cold here. Women from NC in the guest house this weekend. I think they prefer the warm weather. We've been in the barn all day working on my jeep. Got it a few weeks ago. Has a hole in the side of the motor. My husband has put MANY hours into it already. We took the old motor out this a.m. and now he just left to get an engine lift to put the new one back in. Says he hopes to get it done for Valentine's Day. Sweet huh? 75º?!Oh, be quiet! We've got some 'artic air' moving our way in the next day or two. It's not supposed to get out of the teens! We had a snow day yesterday. Didn't get much snow. More of a messy mix of snow and sleet. Everything looks clean again anyway. Everything is white. Just got an e-mail from a close family member saying they are going to have a cut off age of 16 for their only daughters wedding. These are people that come and stay with us several times a year, come for Thanksgiving and .......ugh! That means 3 of our kids won't be invited. My kids are going to be crushed. It's not even like they are wild monster children. They aren't. They are 10, 12 and 15. Both parents have very good paying full time jobs, etc. I don't get it. There aren't any other youngsters (under 16) that I can think of that would be getting this cut. I just don't get it. This woman, the mom, is quite forward and would definately say something to me if the shoe was on the other foot. Do I say something?

So funny I was looking way back in my e-mails today because I somehow lost track of this site. I could find no trace of it and couldn't remember it to save myself. Anyway. Just read your last 3 notes. Thanks for not giving up on me. We got our first real snow of the season last night and today too. Glad to hear your kids got to play in some too! As you can imagine, it's pretty busy here. I don't know what gets into kids these 2 weeks before Christmas, but mine drive me insane. I could just run away! So? Is all your snow melted away now? Last I looked it was 20º out. It's beautiful outside right now though. All that clean white snow and the moon is so bright. Hope you've been well. Sorry for not responding sooner, things here have been CRAZY busy. We didn't get flooded at our house, but there were white caps on the road about 2 miles from us. I just took my 2 youngest boys and my 24 year old niece came with me to disney world. My husband and 2 oldest sons didn't want to leave and my daughter had to stay because of her job. She works for an ambulance service. It was so hard leaving all of them here. Actually I had 24 of my family members not evacuate. I was to scared to leave and the whole time we were gone. They all said "next time, we are coming with y'all!!!!!" With all the holidays coming up, I sure hope I can get on here more often, if not, just bear with me and I'll get back with you.

Hey Jeneq's, That is really neat that you have 4 girls and 1 boy. I don't know if I could handle all those girls. My one is enough for me!!!! LOL How old are your children??? Other than the hurricane's, I do love where I live also.
