paninis ... a fancy way of saying there's not much food in the house.
Well, yesterday was spaghetti with homemade sauce from my mom's recipe. Today... I'm not rocking the plan.
Not acceptable?great tasting and quick to fix! Try this quick & easy recipe I call Fast Food Chicken Cordon Blue: Tyson Chicken Patties, Sliced Ham lunchmeat, Swiss Cheese (or favorite), 1/2 tsp. Honey Dijon mustard, toasted bread of your choice. Spray skillet with non-stick cooking spray. Cook the chicken patties in skillet covered on medium heat about 5-minutes per side. Then add the ham beside each chicken patty to brown a little and take the chill off from the fridge about 2-minutes per side. Place your cheese on top of the chicken patty after turning the ham one time. Give it about 1-minute and place the ham on top of the cheese and it is ready to serve on the toasted bread. It takes just a little honey-dijon to make this great. I hope you like it. My daughter started helping me make this when she was young and it became one of her quick dorm favorites. You don't get the 'fry' taste but you can even do this in the microwave faster.
