Hi Groundrat, I noticed your Masonic emblem on a post you had written in Member Help and read your "About Me" on your profile. I was a Rainbow girl for 9 years so your mention of IORG brought back fond memories. Oddly enough, I just bumped into someone I had known from there this morning. Take care.
HAAAAA!! HOLD UM! HOLD UM! HOLD UM! That was an amazing game. The Cardinals deserve to win for how dirty Pittsburg was playing. Unbelieveable, besides the ending i hope you your family enjoyed the game.
Hi Groundrat, thanks for sending an invite to me (last year), haha. I have been gone from the site for a long time, but hopefully am back on. I look forward to chatting.
I married into a Rams Fan family. but I guess we' re supporting the cardinals (Kurt warner) I personally always liked the Radiers good or bad i guess its a west coast thing.
Hey hey hey, I didn't know you had to click on the button to make friend. Besides you're the only one thats asked so far. Okay, you can feel a little special. :-}
Well, I didn't get a hold of the Patriot Guard. I thought he might be a bit embarrassed about it all and thought maybe it was more important for the boys coming back from service oversea's. His sister, girlfriend and I all went to pick him up from the Detroit airport. I made a big sign and we waited to see him come down the steps. We were so excited and the girls got a kick out of how people would walk by, see the sign and smile a little smile. David told us that a man walked up to one of his buddies while they were waiting for their flight. The man thanked him for his service, forced $60 into his hand and told him to take his buddies for lunch. The boy tried to give the money back but the man wouldn't take it. I did notice a bit of a difference in him. He and his younger sister, who fought every hour of every day, actually were happy to see each other and got along really well. He's much more grown up.
Hi! Just wanted to let you know that the holidays were great and the time seemed to fly by. Before I knew it we had to take David back to the airport to go back to Ft. Benning. I just got a letter yesterday and he told me that he had been "promoted" to squad leader. I take that to be a good thing and that he must be doing pretty well. I am so proud of him. I'm not sure how they decide who to make squad leader, but I'm thinking they probably don't give that to just anyone and they must see some pretty good qualities in him. Well, I just wanted to share that with you. Have a good day!
