I have no children. But when I was about 5 yrs. old, I got separated from my mom when we were at the grocery store. Fortunately, we shopped there every week, so the staff knew me. The manager of the produce dept. gave me some grapes, sat me down on a big box of potatoes & kept an eye on me til Mom got to that dept!!! Don't have stores like that today though.
