I don't have kids, but my hubby has told me the story of how his stopped his shoplifting ways He was about 7 & really wanted some candy, so he took it from the local grocer. His mom made him return the candy, apologize for what he had done AND work weekends doing odd jobs for the man. He has never taken another thing without paying. He learned that stealing is not worth it...it can be embarrassing & cost you you having fun on weekends.
