How do you keep holiday clutter to a minimum?

Well this year, I did throw out some old stuff that was either broken or that I don't need or use. Although, that just made room for more stuff!! ;-) LOL!

How do you decide what to clean each day? Use a calendar or whatever screams the loudest?

Usually whatever needs cleaned the most...I tried to stick to a schedule, but now its whatever I can get to when I can get to it.
