I tried this recipe for the first time and thought it came out great so here it is: You'll need 1/3 cup chopped green onions, 1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs, 3 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese, 1 lb. ground beef, 1 lb. loaf Italian bread cut into 1 in. slices, 4 oz. package cream cheese, 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1 tsp.Italian seasoning, 1/4 tsp. pepper, 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided), 28 oz. jar spaghetti sauce, 1 cup water, and 2 garlic cloves minced. In a large mixing bowl, combine onions, breadcrumbs, and parmesan cheese. Then add meat and mix well. Shape into small meatballs and place on a rack in a baking pan and bake at 400 for 15-20mins. Arrange bread in a single layer in a large baking dish. Mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, Italian seasoning, and pepper and spread it over the bread, then sprinkle with 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese. Combine spaghetti sauce, water, and garlic. Add meatballs and pour over bread. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and bake at 350 for 30 mins.

No I haven't really been able to cook much with my hand being broken, that's ok though my hubby loves to cook. How is everything going with you?

You gotta go to the Ugly Oyster next time your in town. Drinks are reasonable, and the food is so good. They aren't cheap with the servings either.

Good morning! Thanks for leaving me a note. :) One thing about the diabetic diet, there's a lot of snacking. The pattern is breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, supper, snack (last one is optional). Basically, what we did with hubby is to take the food he'd have in one meal and split it into two separate meals. It keeps his blood sugar level and reduces his cravings. He's lost almost 40 lbs since he was diagnosed. You're small, so you might need fewer calories than 1500 in order to lose weight. It might be a good idea to get a food plan recommendation from your physician. One thing for sure, count those saturated fats and try to stay below whatever your doctor recommends per meal. Things like fish, and plant-based foods are naturally low or free of saturated fats. Also, watch those sneaky trans fats as well. They'll jack up your bad cholesterol levels. Good luck! Join our two challenges and we'll cheer you on! :)

I love Judy's on Cherry! It's pricey but the food is soooo good. And the atmosphere is great too! Hey believe it or not I worked at the Speckled Hen (the little cabin resturant in front of Judy's) Years ago. It was called something else then. But thats a great place to eat too..more romantic though. Jaye

Hello getcyped and thanks you for joining Let's Lose Together! The keys to success are a healthy food plan and exercise, no matter how many pounds you want to lose. I always suggest that people check with their doctors before they embark on any new weight loss or exercise regime. I use a 1500 calorie diabetic diet because I have to cook the 1880 diabetic diet for hubby anyhow. My exercise routine is very simple. I walk either outside or on the tread mill and try to do two miles a day. I started out doing just 1/4 of a mile and worked my way up to two miles. I set my goals low because being successful is what keeps me going. No matter how much you want to lose, you can do it one day at a time. :) ~Belle~

Hello Beautiful!, I like what you are having for dinner. Trying to be creative all the time is becoming boring?, or maybe challenging? LOL, I can't decide!!! So a concert in Philly tonight eh? Sounds like fun. Hope it's inside, because it's ccccoold out! So what else have you been doing? We are just plugging along, waiting for Spring and warmer weather. I miss grilling and my garden. I also miss being able to chase the kids outside. The warmth is coming back right? Patience, mom, patience....I can't wait and I can honestly say I may be getting too old for the cold! Ok, your turn, tell me more goodies about you guys. I know you have the concert, what else? I'm so nosy and love hearing about things! Have a great day. Hugs, Michelle
