My oldest called home from college today. After I told him what's been going on with his youngest brother and only sister he became quiet. I asked,Honey, what's wrong?'. Mom', he replied,They aren't suppose to grow up while I'm at school. They are supposed to stay the way I left them!' We laughed together and then he told his little brother to stop growing to which the youngest replied,Yea, right. I need to get big and strong to be just like you! Ahhh,I love my kids.

Awhile back, I was sitting with my then-10 yr. old grandson watching a movie. Suddenly he started scratching his abdomen and announced
"My uterus itches!". I looked at him in shock, started laughing and said
"First of all.....I don't THINK so! And secondly, boys don't have a uterus."
He thought for a second and asked "What IS a uterus?" Needless to say, we had quite a little talk and now I have a good out-loud-laugh every time I remember that moment!
