The very reason I have been staying away from bookstores. I know I will be tempted to take a look at the cookbook section, especially to see Julia's book on French cuisine.

I love grilled veggies more than any. Especially asparagus on wooden skewers. I like to sprinkle Cavenders on all veggies. On the Snapper I usually put some sort of blackening or cajun spice. Just a little for flavor. Yummmm...

We thoroughly enjoyed the movie, 'Julie and Julia'. It had drama and humor. I loved the relationship between Julia and her husband, Paul, and how Julie and her husband, Eric, grew in their relationship. How many movies do you go to and just feel good afterwards. And the cooking. Hmm. Maybe I will try some new recipes this year. "Sausage Gumbo" and "Shrimp served Scampi Style" were the only two new recipes I tried last year. Both are yummy.

Wow, what a small world! I actually grew up in Mahomet, I must've been in high school when your little ones were in grade school! I moved away for awhile but ended up back here with my little ones :) I definitely remember the town without stoplights! I guess a lot of changes have been made... they just finished putting in the 4th stoplight, woohoo! And believe it or not, we even have a McDonald's now ;) There are still antique shops on Main St, but the town is no longer dry(I don't know if you remember no alcohol was allowed to be sold in town), so now there's also a steakhouse/sportsbar right on Main St. Ahh how times have changed. How is life up in Minnesota?
