Congrats! Your sticker called "The track" is featured today on the Community Hub. :)
Hey...sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you...been working like MAD...I'll write more tomorrow!! Tracy
Two weeks ago, I did a triathlon in Philly...I finished, which was my goal. Now, I'd like to REALLY train for the 1/2 marathon. I did not put in enough training before the tri. Stretching is definitely key. I just got over a heal spur, and the physical therapist said stretching is the most important thing for keeping it away! I find that biking is also really good for cross training. I'm off to the gym tonight after work to run on the treadmill for about a 1/2 hour. I used to do work out a lifetime ago...I did tris, and 3 marathons...I had a trainig partner then. Now it;s tough to train alone. I'm looking to join a local running club.. Good luck with the training!!
Hi There, I saw your question in group leader support regarding editing your own posts. In addition to what Cheryl told you the one thing you can do if you group leader is just delete your own post and start over. If it's a post in another group than I'm afraid it has to stay typos and all. :-)
You asked about the Star Wars movie. It was cute, I don't think it is technically part of the saga though. It supposedly takes place sometime between movies II and III. It kind of kicks off a whole new story line for Lucas Film which will continue as I understand in a tv series on Cartoon Network. Not sure when that is though. I liked the movie well enough although toward the end it seemed to drag on like the movie that just wouldn't end.
You will be great in the marathon. I can tell. Have a great weekend. Debbie
Hi Elizabeth, yes it is fiction, now don't laugh it is not about a fish but a girl. Her nick name is The Big Mouth Bass and the books are her journals. I wrote them in journal format to show kids that keeping a journal is fun. The books are about life experiences and lessons learned form them. I guess your brother will be disapointed but maybe your kids will like it. That is really cool that you write for your kids have you though about getting published? I think traing for a marathon is alot of work and dicipline. I did in my twenties but it was a triathalon. It was four weeks away and I had been training for little over a year and my dad passed away. Needless to say I didn't make it. Good luck to you and Gods speed be with you. That is very cool! Debbie
