Hi Catherine, I loved your "Confessions of a Mommy Blogger" in Wondertime. I can definitely identify with your passions - and also have moments where I am torn between being a mother, blogger, and writer. Thanks for sharing! Cheers, Liz Kraft (The Netherlands) http://lizandtobi.blogspot.com

Catherine, I strangely feel as though you have touched my life in ways I couldn't explain. Of course there are the obvious things, like we will forever refer to my breasts as nursings, or that we constantly reference the funny and inquisitive way your children frame everything into a question by quoting our son in the same way. But more importantly I am now trying to be a certain kind of mother, and I have someone to think of when I pause and wonder what I should do now. Thank you for bringing awareness to my life, in one week chronicles. And thank you for all the reassurance, inspiration, and comraderie that your journals have provided me at dark times. I wish I could bring you some homemade banana bread on rainy days.....

Hello Catherine, Let me first say I love your blog. I am from AMHERST MA, so I feel a kinship. I actually went to Crocker Farm and grew up in South Amherst on a farm, and worked at Atkins Farm. My parents still have their farm on Bay Rd where my children and I visit weekly. You are bookmarked on my computer and I have your book waiting for me at the library.I have read all of your old blogs from Baby Center, Wondertime and Family. I look forward to your weekly updates. I also have a kindergardner, I also have a 8 year old son and a 10 month old daughter.

I've been a reader and huge fan since the first journal and just wanted to say thank you. You are an inspiration to parenting in the "here and now" and a voice that reminds us we are not alone in all these crazy wonderful parenting moments. Thank you so much for sharing your family with us.

Catherine, I too have read from the beginning. I started in Jan 2006 and have since devoured everything I can get my hands on. I bought your awesome book and have read it at least 4 times. I also read the babycenter journals 3 times and traveled to the Berkshires to see you read in person. You signed my book and I will treasure that forever. You are my inspiration and the constant guiding light that I try to follow. When I feel overwhelmed and stressed and the kids are bothering me, I actually stop and think of a situation that you had just like that one, or how would you handle this situation. I have tried to be mindful and hold you in sincere esteme. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your family with us for so long and so beautifuly. You are a wonderful person and I consider myself very very fortunate to have found your writing and to have been able to share in all that you share. Your family is very lucky.

Hi Catherine. I started reading your Ben and Birdy journal on ParentCenter.com in the first year you were writing. I can't believe it's been so long. I've been lurking and reading your entries every week to my husband. We aren't parents yet, but soooo hope to be in the near future. Thank you for your inspiration. I write a food blog www.figswithbri.com and constantly think, "now how would Catherine write this?" I'm so thrilled to be able to follow all around the cyber world and truly happy for you that your writing is being appreciated and picked up in syndication. Cheers to you! Thanks, Bri Brownlow.
