Hi Catherine! I'm so glad you left a note for me. I understand just where you are coming from. I have several friends who were put off by me being Christian before they got to know me because of just what you mentioned. Those people....well, their hearts aren't in the right place. Really, I wonder if they read the same Bible as I do. Christianity isn't about being perfect, it's not about having the prettiest dress in the congragation, and it's not about who you can guilt into the religion. We're not perfect, not a single one of us, and if we were well we wouldn't need Christ. Being a Christian and more importantly, being saved doesn't mean we don't sin. It means we have asked forgiveness and are forgiven. Simple as that. We try to live our lifes like Christ would want us to. I'll be glad to answer any question that you want to ask. I'm always happy to lead someone to Christ. Don't think I'll force it down your throat, I promise I won't. ^_^

We are and never will be perfect, but God calls us to strive to be anyway and to know that when we fail, if we repent and ask we are forgiven . Our sins are washed away by the blood Jesus shed for us on the cross. That is the basics. There is so much more to share. Fire questions at me and I will do my best to answer them!

I would be more than happy to share my faith with you and answer any questions you have. First of all Christianity is not just a religion to me it is my faith, my rock and everything I live for. I get pretty frustrated with the posturing of "religion", so it is important to me to clarify. The basics of Christianity are that we were born sinners, unable to attain God's acceptance and Heaven without some sacrifice. The Bible tells us in John 3:16 that "For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life." We were found guilty by law, but saved by God's love and grace. We are called to be "Christlike" in that we are to love , not only those who love us, but also our enemies. To forgive others as we have been forgiven. To live our lives in constant fellowship with Him through prayer and Bible reading.

Hi Catherine. i have been a SAHM for years and now am a SAHG (grandmom!). I have worked outside the home too, and both can be very rewarding. We just gotta do what we gotta do. Hi Catherine. I am a stay at home mom. I feel very lucky. My husband farms and drives truck. I can't help him too much. Sometimes I feel useless, but I always wanted to raise my own kids. I feel for you.
