My grandson is 4. He is the light of my life! He is so excited about Halloween this year, and it is adding to my excitement. Christmas will be wonderful! As for the crocheting...everyone who knows me has a scarf I have made! Lol! I love to make them because they go so fast! I also like to make the cotton dish cloths. I usually do it in the cooler months. Just such a cozy craft, to curl up by the fire and crochet! Have a beautiful weekend! - Becky

OH MY GOODNESS..the 25th are you kidding me? That's the best day of the entire month! That is my youngest sons birthday. Now I am even more excited for you and your grand-daughter. Wow! It will be perfect...I'm a little neurotic about numbers and events that correlate with other events. To share a date in my family is quite a blessing even if one event is not so happy. For example, 4 years ago when my god-mother, who was also my aunt, passed away I had just recently found out and told my aunt I was pregnant with my son and getting remarried. She was ecstatic and very happy for me. I miss her terribly and I missed getting to celebrate my daughter with her too. Oh boy, I'm so happy I could do cartwheels and I don't even know how to do one. All the best and we will light an extra candle that day for your grand-daughter!

Congratulations on your grand-daughter getting married. When in April is the big day? Yes, we had a very good weekend. We saw a whole bunch of people in our extended family. My 4 yr old saw his big brother and all his cousins so he was very busy. We do these big family dinners once a month at one of my uncle's homes. Get all the kids together and basically just hang out. Football games are always on and we eat and eat and eat. The grown-ups play catch up on what we've all been doing. Biggest topics the last few months have been assisted living facilities and nursing homes. We have a lot of elderly folk in our family and their kids (my aunts,uncles and dad) are all trying to figure things out for the best possible care of their parents without making them feel bad. It has been a tough journey. It is wearing them out and they are starting to listen to their own kids (yes, that's me, my sister and my cousins). We'll make it. We always do... lol

Hi Carol! Sweets make me gain weight as well, and they make me want to have MORE sweet. I swear sugar is addictive! That's why I'm so glad I lead the Let's Lose Together group - it keeps me grounded. ;-)
