Do you check the goodies before allowing the kids to eat them? Save anything for yourself? (grin)

Yeas, we check all their goodies! Take anything out I don't want them having, portion some out and put some away for me to control how much they get each day/week.

Do you allow your kids to trick-or-treat door-to-door?

Yes. Daddy goes with them, while I pass out candy, then they come home to finish passing out candy!

Depends on what they want to be. Alot of times, We buy something store bought to put together a costume!

Thank goodness "Balloon Boy" is safe. Has your child ever disappeared on you?

Yup. At Ron Jon's Surf Shop on Cocoa Beach! I was petrified. The staff was quick and did theier version of a "Code Adam". She was with her father!!! Upstairs!!!

Is it ok to let kids take "mental health" days off from school?

Absolutely! Not all the time like every week or something or if they are having a hard time at school. Once in a while though.

After 18 months, a Florida mom "gave back" her adopted son saying they just weren't bonding. Would you? Could you?

I'm not sure I would have been strong enough. Her choice was better than years down the road, the child have emotional, or worse issues, because there have been too many stories...
