Hi Bethanie-Thanksgiving was fun we had all of our family here since it was our first Thanksgiving in our new home. I was exausted from all of the cooking but it was well worth it. I love having all of hubby's and my family together. We're really looking forward to Christmas, decorating the house has been so much fun. We bought our tree yesterday and put it up. Today we're gonna start decorating it. I'm on the hunt for a nativity scene, shame they are so hard to find. What have you guys done so far? I'm sure the kid are excited. Hi Bethanie, I had a great weekend. My hubby and I went out yesterday without the little ones. That is something that doesn't happen often. My mom watched the kids for us and stayed til today. Today we just hung out together. It was nice having my mom here although my dad called her a million times:-) I'm so jealous you are going to Disney! Hope you guys have tons of fun! Have a fabulous trip. I will miss hearing from you, but,I can't wait to hear all your great stories! I love family stories:) We got almost all the decorating done. We have to get more lights to do the rest of the house. We moved into a bigger place earlier this year.Soooo, it's kind of naked looking in spots! LOL, and my oldest called me today and his first semester of college is kicking his buns and he is loving every minute of it! Have a safe and wonderful trip. Bring home lots of stories to share. up to.Sorry,didn't realize I was talking so much. My older boys just impress me with how they deal with their friends when it involves me and the little ones. I've always said that they spoil me. Enough about me. How have you been and what have you been up to? I can't wait for the Holidays. Already counting down and making plans. This is my favorite time of year. Hello Bethanie, just wrapping up on a very busy weekend. My hubby worked overtime yesterday, but we did manage to squeeze in a rummage sale at the church, a trip to The Veterans Association and grocery shopping at the wholesale store. Today the lawn was raked and in 1 week we bagged 28 30 gallon leaf bags. WHEW! Yes, it's always great when we here from Chris. I get so cooky,excited and silly hearing his voice. He's the oldest and I can't believe he's 18 or at college already. He was so cute when he called. One of his college friends was picking on him about being on the phone and he just told them all to shush because he couldn't hear his mom. One of the kids asked why would you call your mom? He replied with,"Because my mom is cool and actually cares what I've been up to" They left his room so he could talk. I found out from my 15 yr old on Friday that Chris said his friends actually got jealous because he showed them all the emails I send him about what his younger siblings are
