Hello Bethanie, We are having a very strange, yet, exciting weekend. Started out with frozen pipes?, nope, someone turned off our water (think it was a teenager) and now blew a lightbulb in the bedroom. Just silly things. I think there are gremlins living in my house! LOL....planning or rather, researching info on places to go for our first ever family trip. Also, going to take one night just for Hubby I to go out. We never had a honeymoon. Ahhh, turkey cooking in the oven, children playing legos at the table with grandma and hubby watching football.....5 minutes of mom time...priceless Have a great weekend, Michelle

Hello Bethanie, Sounds like you have been very busy this year ALREADY! LOL, it never ends does it? Hubby and I painted the whole dining room. It's off the to do list and felt great crossing something off of it on the First of the Year! LOL, it's only been on his list since, um, like May! We now are trying to figure out how to do the living room without totatlly turning the house upside down....oh boy that should be fun :) Write when you can Enjoy your first weekend of the year, Michelle

Hi Bethanie, Happy Holidays! I'm sorry I have not been good at responding promptly to my messages. I have been sick and right now I am home with bronchitis. I went to the after hours clinic at my doctors office so I got some prescriptions. I am hoping for a good nights rest without a coughing spree. I am happy to hear your Christmas went well. We had a wonderful time. The kids had a great time! However, my daughter's MP4 player is not working, so I will call the manufacturer tomorrow about it. (it has a warranty). Good morning Bethanie, We have been very busy around here trying to get everthing ready for Christmas. Both of our families are coming for Christmas dinner. We still have to buy gift cards for our teenage neices and nephews, that should be pretty easy... I hope. I just realized yesterday that we need to buy wrapping paper! We have tons to wrap and 1 roll of paper. I got my Secret Santa gift on Thursday and the box was quite big. I had to hurry and hide it before Sydney came downstairs. My little princess will love her new vanity, she's always kissing herself in the mirror, LOL! That's another thing to add to our wrapping list. My step daughter's birthday is today so the twins and I have baking to do. I'm taking her for her first manicure today too. She just loves when we make a big fuss over her. Hi Bethanie, I'm so glad to hear from you! Yes, we have already gone to look at Christmas lights. My daughters will be spending Christmas (the 20- 26th) with their dad so we had to do it a little earlier this year. It is a tradition for us too. They leave tomorrow so we have been busy packing them up and making sure they have everything. My oldest, who is 16, will only be staying for three days. (her dad is not her favorite person) I'm sorry..probably more information that you intended to hear. Well, I hope all is well with you and your family and you have a wonderful weekend. Hi Bethanie, so sorry you got that yucky flu bug. Get plenty of rest and good for you for getting hubby to do the the shopping. I know we mommy's don't rest as much as we should even when we are sick. I can't believe Christmas is almost here! I really need to tackle my "to do" list. Are you close to finishing your shopping?
