I can't believe I won? OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy. I almost didn't have time today to even come near the computer. I ran out to FINALLY finish shopping (really, I'm done.) Then I had to wrap everything, do the dishes and get ready for my DD7 Christmas show early this evening. You can imagine, I'm a really happy camper now that I took a moment to slow down. Were getting more snow again, today, yup, some big news flash, so her Christmas show may be postponed. Yesterday we had icing everywhere, so I declared a snow day. Now I'm hearing we can get a significant ice storm Thursday. Yippie yippie joy joy. It hasn't been like this here in years. Christmas break starts next Monday, than we can just hunker down! I'm pooped and I wish I had some of that Tequila Cake right about now! LOL!

So you've noticed the same thing about our profiles....hmmm. I think that's pretty cool. When I looked at my portrait the other day and saw that my dogs were reindeer, I just had to laugh! It put such a smile on my face. What a pleasant surprise. It's the warmest day today we've had today in about a month like a whole 35 degrees. Yup, a darn near heat wave. As long as we get a white Christmas I'll be happy...as long as we don't have to drive in it, that is! Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

Trying to get ready for the holidays, but this year is slow-going. It's such a short season this year, with just 5 weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas...I just got my fall decorations down today, and am hoping to start Christmas stuff over the weekend. Snow is this pretty but challenging frozen pixie dust that falls from the sky, provided it's cold enough, but not too cold! The best part of it...I have a confession to make, and yes anyone visiting you here will now know my secret...since I have to wear sooo many layers of clothes and a big heavy coat...no one knows that I'm not wearing a bra (and it feels GREAT! LOL!!)

It may be for only a day or two but isn't nice to be recogonized! Too bad it doesn't come with a cash prize. I haven't gotten my winning message for the dig out of debt sweepstakes either. Maybe they'll have some good give aways for the holidays??? I've noticed that I've been having problems-again, with this site and it's making me batty. Their hair is really time consuming expecially the one in the middle my male. his hair is almost to the floor I keep it shorter than that due to his lifting of leg. messy!! LOL!! You crack me up. As far as the election goes...Honestly,I'm leaning towards Obama. I know this may sound bad, I just have this feeling that if McCain was elected, he'd drop dead right in the middle of his term. I'm still keeping my options open, since you never know when there'll be another bomb shell about either candidate. WTF! You scared the crap out of me. Then again, I thought maybe you said to yourself "the he** with it all, I'm going to Disney!". Hey, staff infections are no fun and ARE very serious and I don't have to tell you that. I understand about getting no sleep and no rest at the hospitial, you'd think they'd figure that peace and quite quickens healing....but, noooo, that'd be too easy! You'd think they'd have laptops w/internet access for their patients, at least! With your blessing, I'm gonna go ahead and give the girls a heads up ( whay you said!) I'm wondering how you're holding up with this weather? Does it ever end? We missed you. I'm starting to wonder about Karen though. She had those medical problems and we haven't heard from her. She's in TX (further inland, but by how much?) and I'm a tad bit concerned. Granted, we don't always have time to check in, but I get worried easily. I'm glad you gave me a heads up.
