Okay, so it's not MY favorite moment, but my daughter's. I took my seven year old with me on a short business trip to New York City.

With only a few months left before our new baby was due to arrive, our family went to Maui to soak up some together time. I remember watching my girls play; they were so happily ignorant of the upheaval that was about to come.

I always find Halloween parties to be so hectic! Plus, I usually have to race home from work, help with costumes and force feed the kids dinner so they won't wig out from all the excessive candy.

For my daughter we made the mistake of buying a bike with Princesses on it to satisfy her current craze. Of course, two years later she thinks Princesses are for babies and doesn't love her bike anymore!

Hi Erika -- in response to your question, let me assure you that this too shall pass. Our daughter was potty trained from around 2 years old and continued to wet her underwear (and claiming not to mind) occasionally for over a year!
