My Quote
"Sit loosely in the saddle of life."
About Me
I am a 44-year-old married mom of two girls. I am a writer and marketing geek. I enjoy tennis, reality TV and writing about the insanity of modern parenting here at Family.com and on my personal blog, White Trash Mom.
White Trash Mom is going to be a book Summer 2008. I will keep you posted.
About My Family
My husband Tim and I have two daughters. "Miss Minnesota" is 10 years old. Our older daughter, "Future Filmmaker" is 14. Tim is a TV producer/director who travels a great deal for his career ... and, some say, for his sanity. We have three dogs, one cat and a very happy vet.

Get brainier with free course materials --including some video tutorials -- from one of the nation's best universities. We love coupling a little Film Theory with a dash of Genetic Biology. After all, not everything can be celebrity gossip.

Fashion mavens unite! This site -- a "social shopping community" -- is where members share, rate and discuss their shopping discoveries with each other. For the trendy BY the trendy, it's a great way to keep your ear close to the style ground!
Cool Mom Picks

Instead of spending a Saturday afternoon schlepping around the mall for a baby shower gift, surf yourself over to Cool Mom Picks. Presented in a blog format, this site provides a lot of great ideas for fun, unique gifts for mom -- from melamine plates to diaper bags. They focus on unusual products from female-run companies, which we think is neat.

It has great deals with hotel chains and is excellent for business travelers. We love their newsletter and new travel guides.

Sarah and the Goon Squad
