Thanks for the hints on how to cut the food to be non-chokable. If you are worried about the skewers, most of these ideas work with popsicles also!

A GREAT family movie that somehow stayed under the radar is 'Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium'. It has a great message- that somehow hits eeverybody differently.

Spring is my daughter's favorite time of year... she gets as excited about the Easter Bunny as anyone would for Santa. Her favorite color is yellow and she loves to be outside. It fits her personality so well.

I am a "teller" for certain, but every "Mommy" and every family and every child is different. Mom and Dad must trust their instincts and discuss their needs for privacy to search out the proper timing of sharing the wonderful news.

reabranch, if you switch the salami to cooked chicken breast slices and the sauce to freshly made OR a low sodium canned sauce, you will cut out a lot of what you don't want. :)

You can also check to see if there is a freecycle group in your area. You can post a "wanted" email for the supplies you are looking for and possibly get them free!

I have utilized email to keep communication going with my childrens teachers. The teachers check their emails regularly when their students are occupied... and they have the convenience of answering me at their convenience.
