- I found in the throws of labor that my body seemed to know what to do. For both of my pregnancies at some point I was standing with my head firmly stuck in the bed in a kind of L shape.

- I think this is a really helpful article. My first baby was induced so I didn't know what to expect with the second. In the end my water broke while I was in the bath tub at home dilating about 2-3 cm.

I think this is all really helpful. My first labor was induced so I really didn't know what to expect the second time round. In the end my water broke while in the bathtub may 2-3cm dilated.

- These are great books - particularly Dr Sears' bible. Two excellent books for the mother are missing though. These focus more on recovery and support during pregnancy and postpartum.
