Yep, Lamaze is the best thing around. I have a daughter with brittle bone syndrome and we have used this trick repeatedly. In fact, this past Sept. we used it when she broke her right femur and fractured her hip bone.

We have always used this trick when traveling. We even use this same trick for our emergency bin in the car. Each girl has their favorite color, so items are placed into baggies that contain their specific color.

I don't do Month of Meals, but I do something similar. With handicapped girls and a husband who is frequently on call not to mention "working" myself as a volunteer, our schedule is very busy.

Thanks for the memories. My girls used to play the dice game with us when they did chores or just wanted to earn money around the house.

What we have found useful is to use "snack bins" for the girls. I have two handicapped girls, and sometimes they want to eat before I am able to prepare a meal.

What a great article. Having a child with CP, I understand about tense muscles. When Rose gets a spasm, nothing seems to help at all.

As a school teacher who is looking for something to keep my 3rd graders interest before school lets out, this one rocks!! I will most assuredly use this one. Also, we are planning a trip to Jamestown where we can do our own...
