My story about: Getting Toddlers to Talk

AspenSkier22's story

January 31, 2008

My 18 month old girl has a vocabulary that is growing little by little every day! My husband and I always speak to her and she gets stories read to her every day.

We are an English speaking household, but one of the first words, and still probably her favorite is Agua! She always asks for her agua, not water, screams agua with delight when she sees a pool, or even sometimes the sink.

It is amazing how fast they pick up words, and with this great success, I think we will keep working on two languages. :)
