Choosing a Daycare
When visiting a day care center, ask lots of questions and listen closely to how the school representative answers them. This might help give you an indication of how they will communicate with you and your family in the future. Also, ask if you can contact existing family members to ask them about their experience with the center. Most parents will give an honest response with the real pros and cons. Look at the children at the center. Do they seem happy? How do the teachers talk to the children and what kind of relationship do they have with each other? Look around the classroom. There should be artwork, books, science centers, and play stations around the room that both educate and stimulate the children.
