My story about: Introducing New Foods

Sumyrdays's story

March 07, 2008

It's hard enough trying to get my husband to eat his fruits and veggies, unfortunatly my daughter has started this rebelious behavior as well. My sister said I should get a blender. The minute I brought it home, I plugged it in and got to work. My daughter was happily drinking down her veggies and fruit when my husband came home and asked what was in the smoothie. I replied with "oh just some apples and a peach and stuff". He took a drink and was hooked. They are both getting all the fruit and veggies they need now. I still try to introduce new foods to my daughter, but when she outright refuses carrots, it's nice to be able to let her drink them.
