Terrible Twos
Two can be a rough spot for some families but it is also a great time for your growing child. At two your child is probably learning to play more independently, say more words and communicate in new and exciting ways. Their frustrated displays usually come when they can?t seem to communicate or they are over stimulated or tired. Make sure they are eating well, napping and getting the exercise they need to curb the tantrums. But try to enjoy the twos, despite the tantrums, they really are an amazing time.
I agree..
I agree with the above but I wanted to add this also. Two is not the only time that you will deal with this terrible behavior. This might be the first time it is really being noticed but children of all ages will have moments that are too tough for them to handle. The way I deal with it is to talk to them about why they are acting the way they are. Try to get them to tell you why they were so upset then you can help them deal with their emotions better.
