My story about: Taking Off Clothes or Diaper

jennsaturn2007's story

December 11, 2007

My son Matthew just turned 2 in Nov. He is my third child and by far the most devious of all 3 boys. He is constantly taking off his diaper. Everything we have tried has not worked. We duct taped the diaper on...he takes the tape off. We have taped the zipper down on the PJ's and he gets it off. We have tried the pajamas backwards and Houdini (as we like to call him) gets them off. He has no interest in potty training other than the being naked part.

Today he pooped in his bed at nap time because he was naked and when he got up decided to draw on the walls with the poop.Thank goodness I was at work and the clean up duties fell to my husband :) My husband suggests that he may have a disorder or something is wrong with him because of course he baby couldn't be so nasty!!! HA HA!!! You would think after 3 boys nothing would phase us but he is our only "ball of sunshine" that has EVER like to get naked.

So, as we move further into laundry of the sheets everyday and more poop on the walls I just laugh and smile and hope that by the time he is 3 he will be potty trained :)!
