Early Puberty
The American Academy of Pediatrics says early stages of puberty are not really cause for alarm. Most girls begin puberty between 10-11 with breast growth beginning a bit earlier or later. If your daughter is beginning to show signs of puberty before 8 it is a good idea to discuss it with your doctor. Also if she begins her period before her breasts begin enlarging, bring that up with your doctor as well.
As for boys, see a doctor if puberty begins before 9 or after 14.
