My kids, girl 5 and boy 3, are finally pitching around the house. We started a chore chart "Mommy's Little Helpers" and they earn a sticker on the chart for each chore they complete. We have a list of chores, but anything that is helpful or shows that they are paying attention to the state of their surroundings earns one sticker. Each Monday we look at the chart and count out stickers and then count out quarters. The best part, at least to me, is that if one gets more quarters than the other a competition ensues and I have all the help I need! It really works!
