I am not sure if you call this bullying I did. My daughter was in fifth grade at a small public school, she had just started at this school the year before. The "queen bee" felt threatened by a new girl so she started just constantly picking on my daughter and if "Queen Bee's" friends did not go along with her picking on my daughter they were not part of the group any more. She really started commenting on what my daughter wore and how she wore her hair. My daughter came home in tears and I told her not to change a thing she was doing because then they would have won. I also told her not to retaliate. It seemed to have worked. The next year Queen Bee left my daughter completely alone. It is sad to say now that my daughter and this girl are seniors, this girl has alienated herself and only has one friend. My daughter is nice to her but they are not friends.
