I find the best study materials for SAT and ACT are the ones that are reasonably inexpensive, offer an risk-free trial, and guarantee results, an increase in points on the tests, or for younger students, an improvement in their report card grades after using the materials.
Combined with a tutor who assigns work, checks progress, coach and advise--for students that don't do well without stucture, guidance, and discipline.

Some of these unnamed learning centers are so over priced.  They offer no promise of improvement, let alone give their lessons a time limit.

And unless the tutor you choose to hire is willing to audition and set goals--they certainly aren't worth much., especially is they are undegreed, lacking in credentials, or uncertified asa teacher, without experience.  Even one of the largest prep courses available make their tutors audition before hiring them.

I have been a high school teacher, a counselor, a parent, and tutor.  There is achievements we can measure, and efforts we can award.  I have high standards, but respect the need for the bell curve.  And needless to say, the worst case scenario is you get your investment back.  The best case scenario--your student is scholarship bound and your satisfaction was guaranteed.  The worst character trait a student must learn to over come is procrastinaion and agree to what their priorities honestly arepromo code 2506 gives the student a free trial.  Write me at lorainreiterlr@aol.com if you have any questions or concerns.
