Healthy Weight Loss
As adults we have heard over and over again that a healthy body comes from proper diet and exercise. It's never too soon to teach your child the same. There are a million temptations outside the house that can lead everyone down the obesity path. So to keep your child from giving in to them, start by having healthy options at home. Stock your cupboards with healthy foods. Things like fresh fruits and vegetables, low calorie/sugar snacks and plenty of water. Make healthy weight a family effort by exercising together. If you live close enough, walk to school or ride a bike. Take walks after dinner or invest in some home gym equipment. Many can be found at second hand sporting good stores or though online auctions. Staying healthy and fit is a lifetime goal but if you teach your child early, they have a better chance at success.
