Imaginary Friends
One of the best imaginary friend movies is "Drop Dead Fred" about a woman whose childhood imaginary friend comes back into her adult life to help her deal with her bad choices, bad boyfriend and not so grown-up life. As an adult, I'm sure many of us long for the days of imaginary friends who listened to us and understood us better than any adult ever could. If your kid is dealing with life issues with the help of an imaginary friend, let him. It's just a way to cope with whatever is going on in his or her life -- and is probably something that will be outgrown in time. Not that it's a bad thing!
