My story about: Asking Why

dsguerber@msn.com's story

January 26, 2008

One sunny day our daughter was playing in the back yard and took notice of a butterfly that was visiting the flower bed. Whenever she approached the butterfly, it would flit away and find another spot to land (but didn't leave the yard). Rather than asking why it wouldn't let her touch it, our daughter finally turned to me and explained: "It's afraid because it doesn't know who I am."
