My story about: Swimming

CallMeMama's story

July 20, 2007

With my oldest, I hesitated to ptt him in swimming lessons too early. I wanted him to be ready; ready to listen and learn and not waste good money that we were paying for the lessons.

Well, maybe I waited a little too long. Now at 5-years-old, he is in a class with kids that are couple of years younger than he is... and they're all girls. My son doesn't seem to mind, blissfully unaware that this might be the last time that he is surrounded by four cute girls in bikinis.

The best thing is that he is paying attention and improving with each class. He even cried today when he had to miss his lesson today (due to a visit to the urgent care center for his brother's possible broken wrist.) I'm not sure which of my children was crying more.

You gotta love it when they love to learn.
