My story about: Choosing a Preschool

Momdeedee's story

More important than anything else, in our experience, is having the right teacher. Ours sets the tone that encourages every child to gradually unfold into their own social being. She is there without being too obtrusive; she is supportive and kind while letting children lead the way. Our kids have thrived at their preschool and to me seemed to be perfectly ready for kindergarten largely because of the grounding she gave them. certainly, it also matters that you share the philosophy and that you like the other families and kids at the school, but in my mind, the teacher/director ranks #1.
