Foster Care Adoption
i have 2 daughters, which i adopted after fostering. they are now 19 months and 2 3/4 years old. The foster care system, dyfs in nj, was very challenging and could be difficult to work with. My oldest daughter, indy, came to me at 5 days old, from the hospital. Her mom named me(surprize!) a guardian for the baby until she was in better shape to care for her. over a year later, I found out that she had a biological sister, now 6 months old. So now I have 2 daughters at 54 years old-a single mom of 2 babies, who are now legally adopted and very, very busy. Ask me---I can answer some questions. It is a very worthwhile and rewarding experience---look out for the curves!!!!
