What should I do if bay frequently gets diarrhea?
If your baby seems prone to diarrhea, you might want to chart her diet and, if you are breastfeeding, yours too. Perhaps she is getting too much fruit or juice or is experiencing an allergic reaction to one of her new foods. By charting her diet, you can get a better grasp on what might be causing the problem.
One other note, if you are supplementing her diet with an over-the-counter electrolyte drink, be sure to read the directions carefully. Some of those drinks expire rather quickly after they have been opened.
