My story about: Get-to-Sleep Strategies

Rayluis's story

September 10, 2007

Ever since my wife had our child, who is 2.5 years old now, we don't have any time together. He takes all of our time and we can't sit down and talk about us, work, TV....and so forth. Our son goes to sleep every night at 10:30 pm and usually my wife is with him. It is her first child and she is very attached to him. I tell her that I miss, us sitting watching a movie or just talking. We can't!!!. I then told her that ever since the baby was born she has become my roomate. She asked me to help her get him into a routine and I started to go to bed with him at 8:00 pm but then my wife does not want to sleep and goes with her things to do list and the baby won't go to sleep. I told her that this is really hurting our relationship. I don't know what else to do. I guess I am the only male writing asking for help. Please help!!!!
