Car Safety
If you are uncomfortable installing your car seat or you are not sure if you did it correctly, you can always check with your local police station or fire department. Most departments install car seats for free. Simply call to make an appointment to have your car seat installed. Once you are there, ask them if you can watch them install the seat. Most will walk you through it and give you tips on how to make sure it is installed correctly. Also, it's always a good idea to invest in a skid sheet. You can buy them at a children's store or use the foamy kitchen liners you can buy at the market. These will help keep the car seat from moving around when you drive -- especially if you have leather seats.
